Aynsley is a renovated early 1900s Queenslander. You can wake up to birdsong in a quiet street, yet be in the heart of cosmopolitan Paddington.

A few minutes' stroll away is an eclectic mix of cafes, fashion boutiques, antique shops and galleries – and a bus direct to the city.

Enjoy full tropical breakfasts with fresh juice, and afternoon teas on our verandahs or on your own terrace overlooking the swimming pool. Other meals by arrangement.

A guest kitchenette is also available if you wish to self-cater for longer stays… and pick your own salad from our potager garden.

Our cottage garden includes an array of trees, shrubs and flowers as well as a potager (a kitchen garden where herbs, vegetables and flowers are all grown together). This garden style dates back to medieval monasteries where the need to be self-sufficient demanded a steady supply of soup vegetables as well as herbs and flowers for flavouring, medicinal purposes and dyes.
