Flemington Racecourse (home of the Melbourne Cup) is within easy walking distance. Public transport is a short walk across the park.

There is privacy and seclusion, unusual for a property so close to the CBD. It is eight minutes and two stops by train to the centre of Melbourne. Tram and bus transport is also available. Some guests enjoy the challenge of walking into the city. There are no car noises or passing traffic.

The house is well appointed with good quality, tasteful furnishings.
