The bus stop, corner Johnston and Booth streets, is a five-minute walk from Bet's B&B. Buses run every 15 minutes.

• 470 bus to central Sydney
The 470 bus takes you through downtown Broadway with its university belt, shopping and cinema centre, past Central Railway Station through to Chinatown, Darling Harbour and the city's financial, business and shopping hub. It terminates at Circular Quay where it is an easy walk to Sydney's historic Rocks district, the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Botanic Gardens and the Circular Quay ferry terminal where you can catch any one of the many harbour cruises or take a ferry to Manly, Taronga Park Zoo, Watson's Bay and other harbourside locations.

• 370 bus to Coogee Beach
The 370 bus takes you to the Pacific Ocean beach suburb of Coogee. It passes through the restaurant and shopping centre of Glebe, past the University of Sydney, the diverse cuisine and style-setting shops of Newtown, the factory retail outlets of Alexandria and Zetland, and the Randwick racecourse.
