Brundah is a superb National Trust-listed home. Built in 1908 by Roy and Charlotte Lang, it is situated in the heart of Ballina Island and is only 400 metres from the beautiful Richmond River. The hedged, parklike garden setting of its grounds offers a delightful seclusion from the outside world. Brundah is, without doubt, a place that time forgot an oasis where guests can forget time! Visitors are welcome to make themselves at home and have full use of the library, lounge room and extensive verandas trimmed with elaborate lattice and fretwork brackets. The house is decorated tastefully. Its spaciousness exudes the warmth and comfort of a bygone era. |
