Historic Bunnerong Cottage and Wynsted Bunkhouse provide individuals, couples or groups with the opportunity to holiday in one of the prettiest parts of Australia, near the enchanting town of Cobargo on the the far south coast of NSW.

The cottage and bunkhouse are privately located on Illawambra, one of Cobargo’s oldest farming, and now horse breeding, properties first settled in 1860. The cottage offers a romantic hideaway for two or, combined with the fully restored Wynsted Bunkhouse, a venue that can accommodate groups up to thirteen people.

With over 10km of forest and pasture trails, the farm is a fantastic location for lovers of walking, horse riders wanting to holiday with their horse or mountain bikers keen to test themselves in the bush .

The Illawambra Creek, many old trees and variety of Australian wildlife and birds also make it a haven for nature enthusiasts and photographic clubs.

4WD enthusiasts will love the tracks through the adjacent state and national park and for the boaters, the fishing wonderland of the Far South Coast waterways is within an easy half-hour drive. We alre also dog-friendly.

Our location is also a convenient base from which to explore the charming nearby towns of Cobargo, Tilba Tilba, Narooma and the glorious Sapphire Coast beaches.
