less than an hour’s travel from Melbourne. The Dandenong Range is home
to such diverse attractions as beautiful Sherbrooke Forest and
Puffing Billy, the veteran steam railway. There are only short
distances between attractions – beautiful garden and forest
walks, quaint antique shops, art galleries, nurseries and the speciality
of the Dandenongs, Devonshire teas. There is a delightful range
of restaurants to choose from.
During

William Ricketts Sanctuary’s display
world renowned clay figures of Aborigines, or picnic at one of
the several dams, lakes and forests. Many local artists hold
craft and produce markets on weekends. We are also close to the
Yarra Valley wineries and Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary. |
