With a tradition for quality and service excellence, the Old Convent Cobargo (built in 1917) is a four-star rated bed and breakfast ideally located in the Bega Valley, half way between Sydney and Melbourne.

The Old Convent is furnished with quirky collectables and antiques, complemented with comfortable queensize beds, fresh linen, fluffy bath robes and selected shampoos and soaps.

Each of the three guest rooms opens through its own french doors to a wide wraparound verandah overlooking a hecctare of manicured lawns and gardens that extend to rolling pastures with uninterrupted views to national parks and wooded, rugged hills.

As its name suggests, the Old Convent once boarded children who attended the adjacent Catholic school, and worshipped at Saint Mary's Church on the eastern boundary. Today, the Convent retains most of its original features including a chiming church bell, and still enjoys a peaceful, serene ambience.
