| If you have a power boat, go from to The Landing (16 km south of here) to the mouth of the Donnelly River where you will experience the pristine beaches of the Southern Ocean and see the 'squatters shacks' in the inlet. As this area is only accessible by boat all the material for these shacks had to be carted there by sea. Fishing for salmon, whiting, bream and ocean trout are all possible in either the mouth of the river or off the beach. And if you are adventurous, you can go on a four wheel drive adventure tour through some of our national forests, to Lake Yeagerup, Lake Jasper, the mouth of the Warren River or even to Black Point. Pemberton Adventure Tours offers our guests a 10% discount on all their tours which include lunch and morning and afternoon teas. You'll love it! Tagalong vehicles are welcome.Donnelly Lakes is 3 kilometres from the Donnelly River Winery. There are two restaurants within a 10-minute drive. Other activities close by include horse riding, mini golf, par 3 golf course and Beedelup National Park. |
