Birregurra 'By the Barwon' is a small country town steeped in history and character. The historic railway station is still operating and public golf course has views of the river and surrounding countryside.
Being part of a lush dairy region, it's no wonder that the district produces Australia's best ice-cream. Irrewarra Homestead ice-cream. is made on the farm with biodynamic milk and fruit. Regal-Bulla ice-cream has been made in Colac by five generations of the same family.
If you visit us during the berry season between November and April you'll be able to enjoy the local ice-cream. with some pick-your-own strawberries, raspberries, blueberries or other exotic fruit.
From Elliminook Heritage B&B you can visit the scenic Otway Ranges, Great Ocean Road and Shipwreck Coast.
