Discovered by Captain John Korff in 1847 and first settled in the 1870s, Coffs Harbour is a popular seaside city 550 kilometres north of Sydney on Australia’s east coast. Twenty minutes west of the city lies the Orara Valley, an unspoilt stretch of lush, hilly countryside with pockets of rainforest that have been singled out by CSIRO as having one of the best climates in Australia.
