The gentle protected east-facing slopes enfolding Hawley House run down to the pristine and sheltered sandy beaches of the Rubicon Bay.

It is from these slopes that a vineyard of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes has astounded wine palates with its intensely floral and aromatic fruit. The proximity of the site to the sea is different. Many Australian gold medals have been harvested by both varieties.

Ruby hued with earthy gamey aromas and flavours of blackheart cherries and spicy coffee. A substantial wine, French-oaked and ideal for cellaring. Smooth and rich.

Complex restrained style. Tropical passionfruit aromas herald the flavours of white peach and cashew with heightened spiciness. Full round palate with a crisp finish.

Aromas of peaches, honey and rose on the nose. Peaches and melons on the palate enhanced by light French oak, leaving a fresh clean finish. Time will increase softness and lusciousness. (ideal with fish)

Distinctive fresh fruit salad style dominated by characteristic passionfruit. The wine displays a delightful mandarin and citrus flavour-finishing medium dry with good length. (ideal accompaniment for smoked dishes, cold meats and fish).
