Glenbriar is a period historic homestead surrounded by two hectares of private land with splendid gardens, a large fruit orchard and rear paddock offering a setting for that tranquil stay.

Perk up your senses after the day's travel with afternoon tea served in the lounge or on the verandah. Enjoy the peaceful river and mountain views from the verandah or strolling the extensive gardens and orchard – a botanist's and bird lover's delight. Contemplate the magnificent old evergreen magnolia tree where it is reputed that the famous American author, Mark Twain once rested while pondering his writing and travels.
