Brisbane is a city where pedestrians can move safely. The train and bus services are clean and well priced, run on time and are safe. A taxi fare from the city to Toowong is about AU $15 and public transport costs about AU$3.

Toowong is a safe, upmarket inner suburb. The walk from Kensington to Toowong Village takes five minutes and is along a well-used and lit-up street. An extra five minutes walk will take you to the City Cat ferry which connects up river to the University of Queensland or down river to the city centre.

At Kensington, each suite has its own entrance and key to provide security for yourselves and your belongings. Guests can come and go as they please.
