From the Airport…

  • Take the Princes Highway to Newtown Railway Station.
  • At the traffic lights immediately after the station turn right into Wilson Street which is one-way at this stage.
  • Travel down the one-way section and cross the roundabout (now two-way).
  • Pass Hollis Park on left and continue to #225 which is on the right just before the Eveleigh Rail Workshops.
  • Approximate travel time 15–20 minutes and cost AU$15–AU$20 by taxi. This is the cheapest and most efficient way to Wilson Street.
Leona's is located in Newtown 4 km from both Sydney CBD and Sydney Airport. Leona's has access to excellent public transport providing easy access to Sydney's CBD and Circular Quay with plenty of varied dining on Newtown's famous Restaurant Mile.

The bus at City Road is a 5-minute walk and the house is served by Macdonaldtown Rail – 2 stops from Central Station. Victoria Park offers a heated outdoor swimming pool and the grounds of Sydney University cater for walkers and joggers.
