Distances & Travelling Times…

  • Sydney 480km / 5.75 hour
  • Brisbane 600km / 6.5 hour
  • Tamworth 80 km / 1 hour
  • Armidale 80 km /1 hour

From Tamworth…

  • Travel north along New England Highway for 40 km.
  • Take Bendemeer turnoff.
  • Travel out of Bendemeer ensuring the pub is on your right.
  • Once past the pub continue along the road for 16km until you get to the corner of Retreat & Watson Creek Roads (Longford Station).
  • Travel along Retreat Road for 16km, after the bridge and small amount bitumen road turn left into Kingstown Road.
  • Follow that for 4km and Lochiel Cottage is on the left. 

From Armidale…

  • Travel south along the New England Highway and follow signs to Uralla (22km).
  • As you travel out of Uralla towards Tamworth turn right (just before the BP garage) and follow signs to Kingstown (45km).
  • Travel on Kingstown Road. Lochiel Cottage is on the right, 12km past the Kingstown Store.

On arrival please pop into the main house to check in with your hosts Dawn & Tim Dew.
