Thornbury House has a six bedrooms.

There are two rooms which consist of a bedroom directly connected to a room containing a shower and toilet. In Australia this is referred to as a bedroom with ensuite.

There are three bedrooms with access to a bathroom exclusively for the use of that room. This is referred to as a bedroom with private bathroom. There are single and double beds available for these rooms . Bathrobes are supplied for the convenience of guests. Two rooms have direct access through french doors to the louvred front veranda.

The Garden Suite opens on to the tropical courtyard garden at the back of the house. The suite is a new self-contained apartment with private entrance featuring a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, bed/sitting room with a double bed and a double sofa bed, bathroom with shower and separate toilet, and laundry just outside the door.

The Attic Suite has two bedrooms, a sitting room and bathroom. It can accommodate three persons.

All rooms have access to tea and coffee-making facilities, laundry, irons and hairdryers. The rooms also have television. Linen and laundry are supplied.

Brisbane generally is a city where pedestrians can safely move about most parts of the city. The walk to and from Thornbury House to the city and the Valley is quite safe; however, if there are concerns, taxis are available at a modest rate.

All rooms have their own key to provide personal security for your belongings while you are out. A universal key plus a security pad with an updating capability provide security for the entire house. This also means guests can come and go as they please.
