- Currumbin
Wildlife Sanctuary is
an oasis in the centre of Australia's popular holiday destination,
the Gold Coast. With 27 hectares of landscaped surrounds
and bushland catering for over 1400 mammals, birds and reptiles,
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary offers a wonderful eco-experience.
- Fleay's
Fauna Reserve at Burleigh is also one of
the Gold Coast's main wildlife parks. From the wooden tree-top
walkways, tour the park and view koalas, kangaroos, dingoes,
crocodiles and brolgas.
In the nocturnal house you can view
dunnarts, quolls, and the endangered bilby.
- Spirit
of the Bay: Imagine
the thrill of a whale-watching expedition to meet humpback
whales on their annual migration from Antarctica to give
birth or on their return journey with their calves. You
might see a 40-tonne humpback whale breach, wave their
pectoral fins and slap their tails.
