View with Sue

View with Sue is opposite Oaks Beach on the Coral Coast, a small piece of paradise at the base of the Great Barrier Reef, where it is not uncommon to pass a giant turtle while snorkelling along the shores.

Sue says that every time she wakes she has to pinch herself to ensure that this beautiful part of the world is not just a dream: 'I get up & look out of the kitchen window and there is the sea staring back at me. It is the most beautiful spot I have lived in!'

Sue's three-bedroom B&B, with open plan living areas, modern kitchen with breakfast bar & dining areas, is located in an area filled with exciting things to see and do. That's besides lazing on the beach only metres from her back doorstep, or strolling along the paved foreshore.

Beaches, Golf, Turtles and Bundy Rum…

Burnett Heads is a thriving little community with a good supply of shops, two great restaurants, a pub, club, parks, playgrounds, skate bowl and boat marina.

Bundaberg Port Marina is only a five-minute drive away, gateway to Lady Musgrave Island, Reef fishing charters and scuba diving. You can dine at Baltimores and watch the yachts sail by, then join in the fun of the night markets.

Close by is Mon Repos beach, a haven for giant turtles. Around the corner, Bargara is a hub of golf courses, restaurants, shops and beaches.

Bundaberg, only a twelve-minute drive away, is home to the famous Bundaberg Rum Distillery and aviator Bert Hinkler. Bundaberg has every modern facility anyone could need, from shopping centres to movie theatres, fun parks, great restaurants, river cruises and many historic sites..
