Arcadia Cottages are at Olinda on Mt Dandenong, the true heart of the Dandenong Ranges, less than an hour's drive from Melbourne.

The village has attracted tourists for over 100 years, In summer it is a cool retreat; in winter there's the comfort of log fires and Devonshire teas. It's a great base for side trips to the Yarra Valley wineries, Healesville Sanctuary (native animals), Phillip Island (fairy penguin parade), the Puffing Billy steam train, national parks (temperate rainforest) and the William Ricketts Sanctuary.

If relaxing in bed, in the spa or in front of the fire become too much for you, there are many other things to do. Arcadia is a short stroll from Olinda which has cafes, restaurants and antique shops.

The National Rhododendron Garden in the adjoining national park is spectacular from September to December.
