Relax in the tranquil Tunanui valley midway between Wellington and Auckland. Only 500 metres from SH4 - close for convinence but far enough away for peace and quiet.

Melvin is third generation to farm Fernleaf - his Romney flock has been recorded for 80 years.

Experience local attractions - a tour of our beautiful farm, fascinating local glow worms, trout fishing in the Whanganui / Whakapapa Rivers, the world famous Tongariro Crossing, Forgotten Highway, Magnificent local bush walks. 42 Traverse and other cycling pathways.

There are homemade treats in the rooms and breakfast includes with delicious homemade preserves.

Enjoy our generous country hospitalty, wonderful breakfasts - Carolyn loves to prepare meals for you. Pets - Billie and Henry, our delightful dogs, and pet lambs in season
